The Future Of PMAC

PMAC has big things planned and we need your support. PMAC is in the beginning stages of a crowdfunding campaign to make our move from 75 Albany St to our new home at 973 Islington St a reality. Less than one mile from our current home this former mattress warehouse is double the size of our current space. The building renovation will be designed by DeStefano Architects and once completed it will allow us to achieve PMAC's full vision with greatly expanded arts and music classrooms, a digital studio and more.

Now is the time - PMAC must move this year. Please make a donation to support PMAC's new building construction and move. If you have questions about this project, or want to learn more about how to support PMAC, contact Executive Director Russ Grazier at russ@pmaconline.org. Thank you for your support!

PHASE ONE In 2011 PMAC was awarded a $500,000 Tax Credit Grant for this project. To date, PMAC has sold $293,000 to 21 local businesses. We are continuing to sell tax credits as we launch PHASE TWO. To learn more about how YOUR company can participate in the Tax Credit program and support this project contact Executive Director Russ Grazier.

PHASE ONE SUPPORTS:
  • Design and Build-out Construction of 973 Islington Street

GOAL $500,000     RAISED TO DATE $293,000

PHASE TWO Crowdfunding: every contribution gets us closer.  The idea is that EVERYONE can participate, and there will be special rewards for getting involved. Give $10, $100, $500, $1,000 or more if you are able. Or become a micro-funder: make a recurring monthly donation for a year or longer to have a powerful impact. Your support will make this happen. Even $10 can make a difference, so for every gift of $10 or more, we have a reward for you. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference.

PHASE TWO funds will provide the support needed to complete construction on the new facility, and provide everything PMAC needs to move and begin operating at the new site. To allow donors to focus their funds in one gift, a small portion (16%) of Campaign for the Future gifts will support PMAC programs during this period of transition so we can continue to offer the best possible music and arts education opportunities for the community.

PHASE TWO SUPPORTS:
  • Completion of build-out construction at 973 Islington St.
  • Furnishing for new building
  • Costs associated with moving PMAC from 75 Albany St. to 973 Islington St.
  • Annual fund to support operations during campaign
  • Retirement of debt
  • Capital Campaign Expenses

GOAL $250,000     RAISED TO DATE $46,886

PHASE THREE Foundations, Grants and Room Naming Donors.  The final phase our Campaign for the Future will support the purchase of 973 Islington Street. We currently have a 10-year renewable lease with an option to purchase. Our goal is to purchase the building in the first three years of our lease. We will accomplish this through room naming opportunities for donors, grants, and support from arts foundations. Additional funds in this phase will be dedicated to securing PMAC's future, and strengthening PMAC's long-term financial position. This supports our strategic goal to ensure a sustainable organization for future generations. To learn more or to get involved in phase three contact Executive Director Russ Grazier.

PHASE THREE SUPPORTS:
  • Purchase of building at 973 Islington St.
  • Annual fund to support operations during campaign
  • Reserve funds for PMAC to secure our future
  • Retirement of debt
  • Capital Campaign Expenses

GOAL $1.3 million     RAISED TO DATE $30,000
